In this article, I would talk about the Microsoft exam MB-500. Last week I took and passed the Microsoft exam MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer.  This was the second exam in my quest for Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification. Earlier I have passed the exam MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations. With the success in this exam, I have completed the requirements and earned Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification. Let me share my experience relating to the exam followed by an overview of the exam and the certification.

Introduction to Microsoft MB-500 Exam:

Before I begin let me get myself introduced to you. I am an IT graduate who is about to start a professional career. I did my graduation last year. After getting the degree I started looking for a career. However, After some time I realized that the job market is very tough for a plain graduate without any experience and specialization. I tried a lot but was unable to get a job. That’s when I start thinking about putting some icing on the cake. So I decided to get some specialization to define my career pathway. For that purpose, I consulted with some seniors for career advice. 

They were very kind to me and gave some good advice. With those guidelines, I chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to proceed with. The next question was about the selection of the specialty within Microsoft Dynamic 365. Keeping in view my interest and the piece of advice, I opted to go for the App developer specialization.  To begin with, I decide to take  Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification track. For this certification I needed to pass two exams, MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations and MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer.

Background of Microsoft MB-500 Exam

So I started with MB-300 in the first place. It was an entirely new experience for me as the nature of the certification exam is quite different from the conventional exams.  For that purpose, I had to get back to my mentors again and again at every step of preparation and course material. It wasn’t an easy task but I did my best because I was already short of time and choices.

Then came the day when I went for the first exam.  I was confused and nervous but I managed it well as I was prepared for most of the questions through my extensive preparation. Also, From the examination method to the environment, everything was new for me. That’s how I passed the first exam MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations two months ago.

Afterward, I took a break of a week. Then I started preparation for my second exam, the one this article is all about. The second exam of the series was MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer. Let’s take a look at my exam experience of mine.

Preparation Of The Exam

MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer was the second exam for Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.  As it was my second exam in a row, so this time I was in a better spirit. This time I was having something in the name of strategy. What I have learned so far is that the certification exam is the knowledge-plus plan.

Knowledge alone is not enough to sail you through the certification. As advised by my mentor and my experience with the first exam, I opted for DumpsTool for study material.
